Marcia Clark has two ex-husbands – Gordon Clark and Gabriel Horowitz. On the FX Drama American Crime Story: The People V. OJ Simpson, we get an inside look at what Clark’s experience with each of them may have been like.

Clark is dealing with a custody battle over her two kids with ex Gordon Clark on the show as she struggles to stay on top of the Simpson trial while taking care of her children. On the show, at one point, Clark asks for the court to adjourn so that she can go home to her kids. Unfortunately, she ends up having to stay at the office and asks Gordon to help her out. Gordon ends up speaking to the media, saying that ex-wife Marcia had lied about going home to tend to her children.

Marcia Clark and ex Gordon were fighting for custody and fellow lawyer Christopher Darden gave her emotional support to try to help her through the situation.

As for Clark’s first ex-husband Gabriel Horowitz, at one point during the trial, tabloids publish a topless photo of Clark with her ex and she was mortified. It was an old photo of the two on vacation in St. Tropez. Marcia Clark was married to Gabriel Horowitz from 1976 to 1981 and they had no children. With Gordon, the two were married from 1981 until 1995 and they have two kids together.

Horowitz was a professional backgammon player, according to The Washington Post, and the couple met with Clark was just 18 years old at UCLA. According to The National Enquirer, in 1989, Horowitz was accidentally shot in the head by a friend, which resulted in him becoming wheelchair-bound and unable to speak.

As for second husband Gordon Clark, a friend of Marcia’s (Roslyn Dauber), told The Washington Post:

Gordon is also a very good-looking guy. He was much sweeter and more nurturing than her first husband. He’s younger, but he’s not a stupid person. I always thought they were pretty compatible. He was definitely still in college and she was working and I think that made him uncomfortable. He wanted to get out of school and make money. He didn’t seem babyish. I think compared to her first husband he was more mature as a person.

Both Horowitz and Gordon Clark were reported to be involved with scientology.

Unfortunately for Marcia Clark, neither marriage worked out in the long-run. In Marcia Clark’s memoir “Without A Doubt,” she gives details on her marriages. Click here to check it out on Amazon.
