Let's start off the spoilers with the plans to save Stefan. First and foremost, we have magic. Stefan and Valerie (Elizabeth Blackmore) are anxious to find a magical herb that can keep the younger Salvatore safe. Last week Freya (Riley Voelekl) tried to make something similar, but didn't have enough time to create more than just a small amount before Stefan left New Orleans. That leaves the pair searching for the key tonight and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) looking for his own solution as well. Unfortunately for him, Bonnie (Kat Graham) will find some shocking news about Rayna that shuts down Damon's plan before it really gets off the ground. Let's just say the vampire is going to be vaguely frustrated by that. A lot. (Annette Brown/The CW)
