Williams is serving time at at the maximum security federal prison in Florence, Colorado, according to The Associated Press. In 2013, he pleaded guilty to one count of unlawfully being in possession of a firearm and received a sentence of seven to eight years in prison. At the time of his arrest, he was also driving a stolen vehicle. He tried to have his sentence reduced based on an “unstructured upbringing and immaturity,” according to court documents. Williams reported a “close” relationship with his mother, but was primarily raised by his grandmother. He also has seven half-siblings and dropped out of high school in 10th grade.
