Marvel Netflix Series: Schedule & Plans for Upcoming Shows

Ghost Rider: Rumored Series Netflix may add three more original series from the Marvel stable including the supernatural superheroes Ghost Rider, Blade and Moon Knight, according to Movie Creed Live. “Our sources have revealed that Blade, Ghost Rider, and Moon Knight are lined-up to join Netflix. It is believed that the series are currently on the table and Netflix is growing ever closer to approving and picking who they want to helm the project or bring them to life,” the blog website wrote on May 16. Two of the three — Ghost Rider and Blade — have already appeared on the big screen. Nicholas Cage starred as Johnny Blaze, the first iteration of Ghost Rider, in 2007’s Ghost Rider and 2012’s Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. Wesley Snipes played the vampire hunter Blade in a trilogy of films between 1998 and 2004. Spike TV brought the character to television in the short-lived Blade: The Series (2006) starring Sticky Fingaz. The producers of Blade: The Series had plans for Moon Knight to appear in their show before it was cancelled and Marvel Studios had announced a possible Moon Knight series in 2006, according to IGN.
