House of Lies will complete its five-season run with a historic series finale, shot entirely on the streets of Havana, Cuba. The episode will run tonight, June 12 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Showtime.
Don Cheadle, Kristen Bell and the entire cast and crew headed to Cuba in January to film the final episode, “No Es Fácil” (English translation: It’s Not Easy). House of Lies creator and executive producer Matthew Carnahan directed the episode, which marked the first American scripted series to film in Cuba since the U.S. restored diplomatic relations last summer.
Marty (Cheadle) and the team are headed to Cuba in the hopes of capitalizing on the influx of tourists flowing into the Communist country ever since the embargo was lifted.
