Looking for some weekend entertainment that’s as funny as it is incredibly sad? You’ve never been more in luck. Season 3 of BoJack Horseman, Netflix’s critically acclaimed animated comedy series, is coming out with all episodes ready to be binged on Friday, July 22nd. Netflix, being a company based in California, begins streaming new seasons of series at midnight PST, which translates to 3:00 a.m. EST for any east coasters.
Viewers have made BoJack Horseman enough of a success to make it three seasons and counting so far for the show, and it has blossomed into one of Netflix’s most critically adored programs. GQ just referred to it as “Netflix’s best original series,” extraordinary praise for a show on the same site as House of Cards and Orange is the New Black.
If season 2’s positive reviews and Critics’ Choice Award for Best Animated Series weren’t enough, the praise seems to be increasing for season 3. The New York Times review praised the show’s ability to exceed expectations, calling the new season “hilarious and hallucinatory.” IndieWire went so far as to describe it as “beautiful,” while The Hollywood Reporter called the upcoming season “darker, sadder, and funnier” than the previous seasons.
A critical and fan favorite, people have to wait just a little longer until midnight PST to binge on BoJack Horseman.
