‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow’ Season 2: Meet The Cast

DC's Legends of Tomorrow is the last series of the Arrowverse to kick off its new season. The show starts season two at 8 p.m. ET on The CW on October 13. Most of the show's ensemble cast is back, although Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee), Hawkman (Falk Hentschel) and Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) have left the show. Two new members of the team - Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Citizen Steel (Nick Zano) - will join the rest of the Legends on their time-traveling adventures.

The new season of Legends promises to open several more doors into the DC Comics universe. Most notably, the Justice Society of America will play a key role, with Hourman (Patrick J. Adams) already appearing to warn the Legends of the dangers of time travel. That won't stop them in the season 2 premiere, "Out of Time," in which the crew goes back to World War II to stop the Nazis from destroying New York City with Vandal Savage's help.

In an interview with Slash Film, executive producers Phil Klemmer and Marc Guggenheim discussed the improvements they hope to make for season two. "We wanted season two to be much more of a mystery, much more amorphous and having a Legion of Doom which is obviously a misnomer because they’re not necessarily on the same page about what their dastardly agendas are," Klemmer told the site. "We wanted to allow our characters the chance to have fun and to be themselves. To have the world coming to an end, it’s so dire and epic that it doesn’t afford them the chance to do what they do best."

We'll have to tune in tonight to see if season two gets off on the right foot. In the meantime, click through to meet the cast. (Diyah Pera/The CW)
