Frankie Jonas is the youngest Jonas Brother, often referred to as the ‘Bonus Jonas’. Frankie, 16, will be featured on tonight’s Food Network Special, Jonas Restaurant: Family Style, in which viewers go behind the scenes of the family’s restaurant, Nellie’s Southern Kitchen, in Belmont, North Carolina.

1. He’s 16 Years Old
Frankie was born on September 28, 2000, in Ridgewood, New Jersey.
In May, he attended the Carroll Senior High School prom in Southlake, Texas, with his girlfriend at the time, Austin, according to People.
The outlet writes that Frankie asked Austin to prom by dressing as Bucky Barnes and presenting her with a poster that read, “I’d be Red Scared if you didn’t make me the Bucky-est man on earth by going to prom with me.” It’s unconfirmed whether he and Austin are still dating.
In December 2015, Frankie posed for Paper Magazine, who interviewed him for an article titled “Meet the Celebrity Siblings to Know” along with Aliana Lohan, Gemma Styles, and Madison De La Garza. Frankie showcased his funny side while chatting with the outlet, and when he was asked what he does when he wants to get attention, he said, “I usually just disappear into my room for hours, sometimes even days, until some- one notices.”
2. Nick Was ‘Anxious’ for Frankie to See His New Film
In late January, Nick Jonas starred in a new film titled Goat, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. The movie follows 19-year-old Brad (Ben Schnetzer), who joins his brother’s fraternity after suffering a terrible assault.
In an interview with the press at one of the film’s premieres, Nick said, “I am anxious for my little brother to see it. He’s 15, going to college soon, kind of advanced. I think it’s important for anyone going to college to see this film and have some perspective before diving into college culture.”
During another interview, Nick added on that the relationship between Brad and Brett in the film is what drew him to the movie in the first place. Just Jared reports him as saying, “I think the first thing that stood out to me was the relationship between the brothers, something I can relate to… And it’s just an amazing story about masculinity and what that looks like today.”
3. He Was Cited for Marijuana Possession Earlier This Year
In November, Frankie was cited for marijuana possession. TMZ reported that the youngest Jo Bro was “picked up outside a convenience store” in Nashville. A source later confirmed to ET that he was not arrested, contrary to initial reports.

Unlike his brothers, Frankie has stayed out of the spotlight. In a previous interview with ET, Nick can be heard saying, “He’s got interests in being behind the scenes, I think… Directing, producing and taking a different approach than we did.”
4. He Graduated High School Early and Is Allegedly Enrolled in College Courses
Multiple news outlets have reported that Frankie graduated high school early and is now enrolled in college courses. According to certain outlets, and based on the Tweet below, he’s currently studying at Belmont University in Nashville.
When Paper magazine asked Frankie late last year what he had planned for 2016, he said, “I plan to graduate and move far, far away.”
5. He Was Nominated for ‘Choice Breakout TV Star’ at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards
Frankie has appeared in Disney films like Camp Rock 2, and also voiced a character named Sosuke in the animated film Ponyo, alongside Noah Cyrus.
In 2009, he was nominated for and won the award for Choice TV Breakout Star (Male) at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards for his work in the Disney Channel Original Series, Jonas L.A..
