Richard Cabral is known for his recurring role on the Fox comedy Lethal Weapon. He was born in LA to a second-generation Mexican-American family, and didn't begin acting until later in life. In 2009, he booked a role in Southland. Growing up, Cabral was active in gang activity. He was raised by a single mom, and addicted to cocaine by age 15. At 20, he was sentenced to five years in prison, according to his interview with E. After being released from prison, Cabral worked at Homeboy industries (an organization that takes in former gang members and helps them find their next step in life), which is where he was discovered for his 2009 role in Southland.
