Why Isn’t ‘Scandal’ on TV Tonight?

Tonight you may be gearing up for a new episode of Scandal, but we are sorry to tell you that you will have to wait another week. In fact, the entire line-up on ABC for tonight has been postponed a week because of the mini-series When We Rise. In addition, there is a special airing tonight at 8 p.m. ET/PT before the show, titled When We Rise: The People Behind the Story.

The next episode of Scandal is titled “They All Bow Down” and the plot synopsis for the show reads:

Jake and Vanessa’s relationship threatens the campaign, spurring Olivia into action; a revelation about the conspiracy around Vargas’ assassination comes to light.

Previously on the show, viewers found out that Tom Larsen (Brian Letscher) was Frankie Vargas’ killer and Cyrus has been put in jail for the President Vargas’ assassination, along with Tom, according to Variety. But, are the two really Vargas’ killers?

We will have to wait and see.

On March, 26, 2017, the 100th episode of the show will air and the cast is celebrating the big event. Check out a clip of their celebration in the below tweet.

Be sure to tune in 9 p.m. ET/PT on March 9, 2017 for an all-new episode on ABC.
