Tonight is the premiere of FOX’s ten-part series, Shots Fired. The show follows the story of African-American deputy Joshua Beck, who shoots an unarmed white college student during a traffic stop, which opens an investigation by the Justice Department. During the ensuing trial, the investigator and prosecutor learn that the police are overlooking the murder of an African-American teenager.
