According to blogger Reality Steve, Bachelorette contestant DeMario Jackson gets called out for having a girlfriend when he participates on the show. Many viewers have already met Jackson, as he is one of the four contestants who Lindsay met on the After the Final Rose Special from Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor.
During host Chris Harrison’s Facebook Live reveal of the contestants, he implies that Jackson might be the kind of guy who’s on the show for the “wrong reasons.”
On the premiere episode, Rachel Lindsay meets up with several girls from Nick Viall’s season of The Bachelor and Whitney reveals that Jackson may have a girl back home. Reality Steve reports that viewers may actually get to see this girl on episode 2 of the season and a promo clip definitely shows this will definitely happen. In fact, this girl will show up with proof in her phone of her being together with Jackson.
When Lindsay meets up with former Bachelor contestants Corinne, Alexis, Jasmine, Whitney, Raven, Kristina, and a couple others, the girls weighed in on DeMario Jackson. Raven Gates was the first person to say she didn’t like him. Whitney then spoke up, saying that Jackson’s intentions “may not be pure”.
Upon showing up at the mansion, Jackson was excited that Lindsay remembered him and he said that he looked forward to many firsts with her. When he first met her on the ATFR Special, Jackson brought fake tickets to Las Vegas for them to elope.
Jackson is very outspoken on the premiere, and some of the other men think he talks too much. Lindsay enjoyed his confidence and was impressed by it.
