What time does the Met Gala coverage for 2017 begin and can I watch it on TV? Fortunately, viewers can watch the celebrity red carpet arrivals tonight and we’ve got all the details on what to expect to see. Read on below for the schedule of events.


DATE: May 2, 2016


PRE-SHOW TIME: 7 – 7:30 p.m. ET/PT time delay: E! News pre-coverage of the Met Gala on-air, online and via social media. This will be featured on the E! Network and will also discuss today’s relevant news in general.


RED CARPET TIME: 7:30 – 9 p.m. ET/PT: Giuliana Rancic and Zanna Roberts Rassi, along with Jason Bolden and Kristin Cavallari, will give the red carpet rundown on the fashions of the evening. Brad Goreski and Sibley Scoles will interview some of the biggest celebrities on the red carpet live.


TV CHANNEL: The Live From the Red Carpet special will air on the E! Network.

HONORARY CHAIRS: Anna Wintour, Designer Kawakubo, Pharrell Williams, and Katy Perry.

TICKET PRICES: According to the NY Times, tickets for this year’s gala are $30,000 each, and tables are $275,000.

ADDITIONAL COVERAGE: E! Network’s new show “Daily Pop” will have special episodes, featuring Catt Sadler, Justin Sylvester, and Carissa Culiner, who will deliver the latest details on the Met Gala.
