Nicki Minaj is set to open up the 2017 Billboard Music Awards, with special musical guests including Lil Wayne, Jason Derulo and David Guetta. However, it’s rapper Nas who has caught a lot of people’s attention when it comes to his connection to Minaj. When Minaj posted the above Instagram photo online, fans were in a frenzy over the meaning behind it. Are they two dating? Are they together?
There are no reports that the two stars are together, but Nas’ repost of the pic definitely raised eyebrows. Plus, the fact that the two are wearing machine neck chains, definitely is a little suspect.
According to E! News, Nas and Minaj were hanging out together Los Angeles to celebrate the opening of Nas’ West Coast expansion to his Sweet Chick line of eateries.
Minaj and Nas’ connection goes back several years, as they played each other’s love interests in Minaj’s music video for her song “Right By My Side” in 2012.
Earlier this year, Minaj and longtime love Meek Mill ended their relationship together and Minaj confirmed the break up news via Twitter. In a tweet, Minaj explained:

Other big events going on during the show include Cher accepting the Icon Award and performing for the first time in 15 years at an awards show. In addition, Celine Dion will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the movie Titanic with a performance of “My Heart Will Go On.”
