“This white cotton blend and silk lace mini dress from Alexander McQueen features delicate pleats that ooze femininity. It includes a round neck, three-quarter length sleeves, a concealed rear zip fastening and a flared skirt. This timeless piece can be styled with flats for day time or punched up a notch with a glitzy clutch and high heels,” reads the description for the dress on the site Far Fetch.

The Duchess was joined by her husband, William, the Duke of Cambridge, who looked dapper in a gray slacks with a black tailcoat and a top hat.

Kate’s mother, Carole Middleton, also made an appearance, dressed in a powder blue frock.

For those unfamiliar with the event, the annual Ascot horse races take place over five-days in England. There are 30 races, eight of which have Group 1 status. According to the New York Times, 2017 marks the first year that NBC Sports Network will air the races in the United States.

Some statistics on the crowd attending the Ascot horserace are below.

“On average, 300,000 people, adhering to a dress code more strict than anything ever enforced by a nun, attend the meet and consume 51,000 bottles of champagne and 160,000 glasses of Pimm’s.”
