Fans are hoping for big news during the Rick and Morty live stream event tonight. But when should you start tuning in? What time does the live stream begin?
The event starts at 9 p.m. Eastern (8 p.m. Central/6 p.m. Pacific/ 2 a.m. in the UK.) According to the EventBrite invitation, it’s scheduled to last two hours.
(Note: To learn what’s happening during the live stream event, see our story here.)
You definitely don’t want to tune in late to this one, if you can help it. A line in the press release about the event reads: “Don’t miss it. Or be late. Trust us.” The lines are vague, but they seem to indicate that something big is going to happen and it won’t just be a sit down discussion. Sure, it could be misdirection. But just in case it’s not, try to start tuning in right on time.
You can watch the event on AdultSwim.com. Right now, it looks like it won’t be broadcast on TV, according to online schedules and DVR listings. But Adult Swim has been known to ignore TV guide listings before for Rick and Morty. Just to be on the safe side, however, you should tune in online and not try to catch it on TV instead.
There have been a lot of rumors circulating about this event. Some fans think maybe we’ll see episode two of Season 3. Other fans are hoping we’ll at least get a trailer, new scenes, or a premiere date for Episode 2. You can find out exactly what we do know about the event in Heavy’s story here.
Fans are already getting excited about the event and talking about it online. Here’s what some people are saying:
