On tonight’s episode of Big Brother 19, the contestants are presented with a major twist called the “Den of Temptation.” According to CBS, the houseguests will be given “tempting offers that could give them money, power and safety in the game. But, they will need to be careful, because for every temptation taken, there will be a consequence to face.” What’s really entertaining is that viewers will vote on which houseguest they would like to send into the “den”. Executive producer Rich Meehan released the following statement about the twist, stating that:
Temptation has always been a part of Big Brother, but this summer we are testing the Houseguests like never before. There are so many different paths the game could take this season depending on what the Houseguests choose to do. With so many unknowns, we are excited to see how it all plays out.
One of the alleged future temptations that someone in the den will face later in the competition, according to Romper, is that an “unlucky contestant in the Den will be offered the Ring of Replacement, which they can use just once to give themselves the power to play in any Veto Competition.” Another temptation is said to be called a “Halting Hex”. This gives the contestant the power to call off any eviction night in the game to buy themselves or someone else more time in the game.
For viewers at home who want to vote contestants into the game, they can cast their votes online via CBS.com. For this week, voting is reportedly closed already, so you’ll have to wait.
So far on the show, contestant Cameron has been evicted and contestant Megan has chosen to leave. Houseguest Cody is currently the Head of Household.
