Not sure you can bear the sight of one of your favorite characters dying during the premiere? After last season’s finale, when Cersei killed some fan favorites and hundreds more, things have bene looking quite dire in Westeros. And with George R. R. Martin at the helm, they’ll likely only get worse. Here’s a look at who died during tonight’s premiere. We’ll be updating this post live as the show airs.

At the beginning of the episode, Walder Frey is still alive and celebrating with his family. “I’ve gathered every Frey who means a damn thing,” he said. The room is full of men who slaughtered the Starks. Walder talks about the Red Wedding proudly. “But you didn’t slaughter every one,” he said, as all the men in the room begin to choke on the wine.
It turns out that Arya took Walder’s face and killed them all.
So the show opened with a huge massacre.
Later, The Hound saw a man and his daughter who were already dead, but they had died a long time before.
So Arya’s massacre accounted for the only deaths in the premiere.
