Hannah Hart is the star of the Food Network’s new series, I Hart Food. The Food Network Star guest judge and star of My Drunk Kitchen is a jack-of-all trades, but her focus is and has always been food. The passion has led to her winning a number of awards, like “Best Female Performance in a Comedy” for “My Drunk Kitchen” at the 3rd Streamy Awards, Best Comedy for the same show in 2014, and “Best In Food” at the Shorty Awards just last year.

1. She Has over a Million Followers on Twitter and Instagram
Hannah is a social media giant with over 1.3 million followers on Instagram and 1.09 million followers on Twitter.
Her social media platforms show off her sense of humor, like in the post above, and her passion for food.
2. ‘I Hart Food’ Will Have a Six-Episode Run
In Hannah’s new six-episode series, she’ll travel the country, discovering impeccable local dishes that would make anyone’s mouth water.
In a statement, Kathleen Finch, Chief Programming and Content/Brand Officer for Scripps Network Interactive said, “Hannah’s young, fresh voice and unique sense of humor make her food adventures a perfect fit for our viewers… Her enthusiasm is sure to inspire others to hit the road for their own culinary journeys.”
Hannah will serve as an executive producer on the series. She tells the Food Network blog:

3. Her Cookbook Was a New York Times Bestseller for Five Weeks
In 2014, Hart wrote a parody cookbook (“My Drunk Kitchen: A Guide to Eating, Drinking, and Going with Your Gut”) that was a bestseller for five weeks over the summer.
The foreword to the cookbook was written by author John Green.
In 2016, Hart released a memoir titled Buffering: Unshared Tales of a Life Fully Loaded through HarperCollins Publishing. The book debuted at No. 4 on the New York Times Best Sellers list.
4. She Graduated from UC Berkeley
Hannah graduated from UC Berkeley in May 2009 with one degree in English literature and another in Japanese language.
Within a few months of graduating (she worked at a Manhattan-based translating firm), Hart launched her YouTube channel and soon after, quit her job to focus on it.
Despite the fact that her focus is clearly on food and informing her fans what she’s up to, Hannah has also dabbled in a variety of other projects. In September 2016, she made the movie Dirty 30 along with Grace Helbig and Mamrie Hart. The movie was produced by Lions Gate Entertainment.
5. She Openly Dated Fellow Youtuber Ingrid Nilsen
From September 2015 to January 2016, Hart openly dated fellow Youtuber Ingrid Nilsen.
Their breakup was announced by the couple in a Twitter post in March.
Ingrid Nilson is from Rowland Heights, California, and started her Youtube channel in 2012. In 2014, Nilson was hired by CoverGirl as the first YouTube personality to represent the brand.
