Singer-songwriter Ray LaMontagne announced the tour dates for his fall “Just Passing Through” tour. The tour will mark LaMontagne’s first acoustic tour in five years.
According to the press release, the Grammy-winning musician will be highlighting songs from his vast and varying body of work, including his acclaimed albums “Trouble,” “Till The Sun Turns Black” and “God Willin’ & The Creek Don’t Rise.” John Stirratt from Wilco will be joining LaMontagne on acoustic bass to perform songs like “Trouble,” “Shelter,” “You Are the Best Thing” and 2011 Song of the Year nominee “Beg, Steal, or Borrow.”

LaMontagne’s most recent release was 2016’s “Ouroboros.” The album was produced by My Morning Jacket’s Jim James and was intended to be listened to as a record, as opposed to a “batch of songs.”
In 2010 LaMontagne received two Grammy nominations. He went on to win the award for Best Contemporary Folk Album.
