Hallmark’s ‘Entertaining Christmas’: Cast, Where Filmed, Time & Photos

Jodie Sweetin stars in Entertaining Christmas. Here's her bio from Hallmark:

"Actress, producer and author, Jodie Sweetin garnered the love of millions in her role as Stephanie Tanner on ABC’s long-running, hugely popular sitcom “Full House,” which still airs in syndication. She recently returned to her role as Stephanie in Netflix’s highly anticipated spinoff, “Fuller House.” Netflix renewed the series for a second season just five days after the series premiered and its continued success garnered an instant third season pick up. The return of “Fuller House” has been a favorite across numerous generations and the series has won the People’s Choice Award for Favorite Premium Comedy Series, the Kids Choice Award for Favorite Family TV Show and the Teen Choice Award for Choice TV: Comedy in 2016, 2017 and 2018. “Fuller House” was also nominated for Choice TV: Chemistry.

"Sweetin also stars with her actress friends Beverley Mitchell and Christine Lakin in the POP TV unscripted comedy “Hollywood Darlings,” which has already had two successful seasons. In addition to co-starring, Sweetin serves as co-executive producer on the project.

"In 2016, Sweetin was the third most Googled actress of the year and the sixth most searched subject on Yahoo. She also lit up the dance floor on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” where she partnered with Keo Motsepe. In 2017, Sweetin starred in her first Hallmark Channel holiday movie “Finding Santa.”

"Originally from Orange County, Sweetin always knew she wanted to be an entertainer. Her mother saw that she loved performing and, at three-and-a-half years old, she began doing print ads and commercials. Sweetin soon booked her breakout role in “Full House” and secured her spot in pop culture with her cute lisp and catchy tag line, “How rude!”

"In 2009, Sweetin published her memoir, UnSweetined, documenting her life growing up in the spotlight and the years following. In her rare spare time, she loves to dive into a good book.

"Sweetin lives in Los Angeles and usually keeps busy going on adventures with her daughters, Zoie and Beatrix."

Recap & Looking Ahead: The synopsis from Hallmark for Entertaining Christmas reads: "Claire is a cookbook author, crafting expert, and television personality whose name is synonymous with perfection. As she contemplates retirement, her daughter Kara (Sweetin) is poised to become the new face of the Livingston brand. The only trouble is, Kara can’t cook. Or sew. Or do any of the signature things her mother is known for. When a young girl posts a video online requesting Claire help welcome her deployed father home for Christmas, Kara is sent in her place in an effort to prove herself a worthy successor to the board of directors and win the job. As Kara does her best to make a good impression, she gets more than she bargained for when the young girl’s uncle Joe turns out to be a reporter for the local paper, looking for his next story."

Another synopsis from Hallmark has different name for the main characters. It's not clear which version is correct, since the different versions are both listed on Hallmark's website: "Candace, daughter of lifestyle mogul Liz Livingstone, has never lived up to her mother’s standards. When a young girl posts a video begging Liz to help arrange a special Christmas party, Candace is sent in her place. As she struggles to prove herself worthy of running the company, Candace meets — and begins falling for — the girl’s uncle, a reporter writing an expose on her."
