6. Keep A Good Amount of Food on Hand for Villager Activities
Your villagers will indulge in all types of activities that have an impact on the well-being of your village. Make sure you have enough food for your people to survive on. Having enough grub on hand and keeping your villagers focused on a manageable list of tasks will keep your village in check. Don’t have too many activities being handled by your people all at once since that means more food will be consumed. Do all of your village building and territory unlocking in moderation.
7. Take Out Those Savages ASAP!
From time to time, some neighboring savages will pay an unwelcome visit to your home village. They’re pretty easy to spot, since their circle icon clearly exhibits a any barbarian face. Watch out for those three exclamation points above their heads! That means they’re fixing to raid your village and burn some huts and buildings. Tap on those barbarians and put ’em out of their misery as quickly as you can. You don’t want all of your hard work to go to waste, right?
8. What Bonuses Should You Spend Some Money On?
If you’re really willing to spend some money for some in-game boosts, then make sure you buy the experience and construction building boosters. Consider purchasing the Spirit of Knowledge, Spirit of Wisdom and Spirit of Speed boosts.
9. Don’t Build Anything Before You Take on Any Quests That Require Them
Some of the quests that you’ll encounter will task you with building specific village structures. Make sure you don’t build the allotted structures for these quests before you take on the quest itself. If you’ve created the total number of built structures needed for a quest, then you’ll get a pass on the proceeding quest.
10. Make Sure Your People are in a Good Mood
IGN.com knows how beneficial it is to players who keep their villagers happy:
When you aren’t busy building or expanding, it’s helpful to check on your villagers every so often. Sometimes, your villagers will have wish icons hovering above their head, such as food icons (which indicates they are hungry and would like to go to a cafeteria) or cocktail glass icons (which indicates they are thirsty and would like to go to an ancient bar). Tap the wish icon to send your villager to their wish building. Fulfilling your villagers’ wishes will make them happy and also give you an experience bonus!
