World building mobile games come a dime a dozen these days, but only a few of them truly excel at the genre it supports. The Tribez places players in a world that includes dinosaurs, tribal ancestors and stone-age technology.
It can be pretty taxing at first when it comes to raising an efficient village that’s packed with the resources needed to prosper. There’s other territories to explore beyond your village perimeters, but there’s only a certain way to approach doing it.
With all these top 10 tips/tricks/cheats, you’ll build your tribal village into an ever evolving world that’s booming with activity and currency.
1. Complete As Many Quests As Possible to Increase Your Experience Level Faster
Quests will always be present as a separate group of icons that are visible on the left side of your screen. Completing quests leads to you gaining more loot and much needed experience. One of your primary tasks will always involve completing a quest, so always set out to pick up some new quests once you complete previous ones. It’s easy to find the main location of any current quest by clicking on the quest icon and hitting the “Find” tab.
2. What’s the Fastest Approach to Getting More Money?
AndroidIdentity.com knows the best way to putting some more money into your pockets:
Build Trading Posts, Shaman Shops and Theaters and keep then running. Also, make sure that you always collect your coins on time. And if you spend a lot of time playing the game, keep an eye on your workers’ wishes – they might want to drink something or eat something. Drag them to the respective buildings and you’ll keep them happy and gain a few coins in the process.
3. How Do I Increase My Population Much Faster?
Simple. Just build up as many huts as you can. These huts directly result in more villagers coming from far and wide to become a part of your evolving neighborhood. Putting up a bunch of huts also leads to an increase in your happiness level. Makes sense. Have a place and some huts for your people to chill in and everyone’s in a good mood.
4. Refrain From Buying Any Crystals During the Tutorial Stage
GameSkinny.com warned players not to waste money on any crystals at the beginning of the game:
Do NOT spend any crystals during the initial tutorial. The game implies that using them is necessary, but it is not. Wait for each task to end in its own time, and the demand to use a crystal will disappear and the game will move on. If you want to play for free, you should also DECLINE all offers to upgrade the warehouse or to purchase crystals or coins. You can easily level up without spending any real money if you save your crystals for certain key tasks.
5. But Here’s How to Get Even More Crystals
GameSkinny.com even threw a few tips on players who actually want to pick up some extra crystals:
To get more free crystals you can allow the game to post for you on either Facebook or Twitter or both. I allowed the Twitter access in order to get 20 crystals and my account was instantly bombarded with tweets from The Tribez. Sign into Twitter online immediately, use the gear at the top right to access settings, and select apps to revoke the game’s access to your Twitter account. You’ll keep the crystals. I had trouble getting the Facebook quest to work, but I’ll do the walkthrough without it, as you shouldn’t really have to use either one, let alone both. If you don’t want to give the game access to either a Twitter or a Facebook account, just let the quest timers run out and they will disappear.
6. Keep A Good Amount of Food on Hand for Villager Activities
Your villagers will indulge in all types of activities that have an impact on the well-being of your village. Make sure you have enough food for your people to survive on. Having enough grub on hand and keeping your villagers focused on a manageable list of tasks will keep your village in check. Don’t have too many activities being handled by your people all at once since that means more food will be consumed. Do all of your village building and territory unlocking in moderation.
7. Take Out Those Savages ASAP!
From time to time, some neighboring savages will pay an unwelcome visit to your home village. They’re pretty easy to spot, since their circle icon clearly exhibits a any barbarian face. Watch out for those three exclamation points above their heads! That means they’re fixing to raid your village and burn some huts and buildings. Tap on those barbarians and put ’em out of their misery as quickly as you can. You don’t want all of your hard work to go to waste, right?
8. What Bonuses Should You Spend Some Money On?
If you’re really willing to spend some money for some in-game boosts, then make sure you buy the experience and construction building boosters. Consider purchasing the Spirit of Knowledge, Spirit of Wisdom and Spirit of Speed boosts.
9. Don’t Build Anything Before You Take on Any Quests That Require Them
Some of the quests that you’ll encounter will task you with building specific village structures. Make sure you don’t build the allotted structures for these quests before you take on the quest itself. If you’ve created the total number of built structures needed for a quest, then you’ll get a pass on the proceeding quest.
10. Make Sure Your People are in a Good Mood
IGN.com knows how beneficial it is to players who keep their villagers happy:
When you aren’t busy building or expanding, it’s helpful to check on your villagers every so often. Sometimes, your villagers will have wish icons hovering above their head, such as food icons (which indicates they are hungry and would like to go to a cafeteria) or cocktail glass icons (which indicates they are thirsty and would like to go to an ancient bar). Tap the wish icon to send your villager to their wish building. Fulfilling your villagers’ wishes will make them happy and also give you an experience bonus!
