Playing online in Turtle Rock and 2K’s upcoming Evolve game is anything but easy. In fact, whether you play as one of the monsters or one of the hunters, it always seems to be challenging, well-balanced and enjoyable. Most people are planning to buy Evolve for the multiplayer, but 2K wants us all to know that there IS an offline solo gameplay experience, as they’re showing in the trailer above.
We’ve known about the offline mode for quite some time, but this is the first time we’re actually seeing a large chunk of gameplay from it. The solo gameplay looks easy … maybe too easy? But that’s okay, as most will treat the solo gameplay experience as a practice mode of sorts to hone their skills without having to worry about winning or losing. But, it’ll also be good for those days where you just don’t feel like dealing with or coordinating with other people. Let Evolve provide you with solitude!
Evolve, which is one of our top 25 most anticipated video game releases of 2015, is set to be released on February 10, 2015 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. Stay tuned to Heavy’s gaming section for our review!
