6. There’s Going to Be an Additional Playable Character
Geralt of Rivia isn’t the only character you’ll get to use in the game. His adopted daughter, Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon, can also be played as well. She is described as the trueborn daughter of Pavetta, the princess of Cintra and Count Danya. The Wild Hunt army is hot on her trail, which is why Geralt goes out of his way to save her.
7. Two Pieces of DLC Have Already Been Revealed
For fans who purchase The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, they’ll get special access to the game’s two DLC campaigns. The 1st one, called “Hearts of Stone,” tasks Geralt with completing a contract given to him by the Man of Glass. This 10-hour adventure will place Geralt into the following locales – No Man’s Land and Oxenfurt. “Hearts of Stone will release sometime in October 2015.
The 2nd DLC campaign (“Blood & Wine”) fills out at 20-hours and places Geralt in a new region – Toussaint. Players will venture into a war that hasn’t been touched by war. However, that location hides a dark secret behind its veil of peace and knightly ritual masks. “Blood & Wine” will release in the 1st quarter of 2016.
Both DLC campaigns will feature new content, such as weapons, items, enemies and new & returning characters.

8. The Game is Being Sold With an Exclusive Graphic Novel
Fans can go ahead and purchase the game alongside a Witcher comic book created by Paul Tobin. The awesome art has been drawn by Max Bertolini, while its covers have been done by Joe Querio.

9. A Huge Strategy Guide Has Been Produced
For such a massive game, video game strategy guide maker Prima has produced a massive official game guide for it. Not only will it come with an extensive section that covers the game’s main/side missions, it also feature some exclsuive content. It comes packed in with a 32-page art gallery and a 96-page compendium titled “A Fractured Land: Tales of the Northern Realms.”

10. The Game Has Been Delayed on a Number of Occasions
The 1st time gamers got a glance at The Witcher: Wild Hunt occurred on February 4, 2013 with an exclusive Game Informer cover. It was slated to release in the Fall of 2014 at first, but the development team decided to delay the game to get more time to fine-tune it. It was then pushed back to February 2015. However, that date was then changed to the final release date – May 19, 2015.
