Another year of CapCom Cup has come to an end. Who took home the top prize this time around?
After two days and hours upon hours of matches, NuckleDu was crowned Street Fighter V Champion at the conclusion of CapCom Cup’s second day. That means he will be taking home $120,000
Ricki Ortiz comes in second place, winning $60,000 and delivering an incredibly impressive performance throughout the entire tournament; she also shared a heartwarming hug with NuckleDu on stage on Saturday night.
Finally, Kazunoko comes in third place and takes home $25,000.
All in all, it was a surprising CapCom Cup to say the least, especially considering how many excellent players did not even make it into the top eight as everyone expected. Also, who could have expected the grand finals would consist of four American players?
