Niantic surprised Pokemon Go players be starting a special Valentine’s event much sooner than anyone anticipated. The event was announced the morning of Wednesday, February 8, with the event officially starting at 11 a.m. PST (which is 2 p.m. EST.) But how long will the game last?
According to Niantic, the Valentine’s event is going to end at 11 a.m. PST on February 15. This means that you’ll be able to catch extra pink Pokemon until 2 p.m. EST the day after Valentine’s.
The special event will also let you hatch more Cleffa, Igglybuff, and Smoochum, along with having lure modules that last for six hours each.

However, some trainers are still disappointed that Gen 2 hasn’t been announced yet, and are waiting eagerly for the new Pokemon to be released.
