‘Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle’ is Holding a Selfie Contest

If you thought Rabbid Peach in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is the only one taking selfies for the game, you’d be wrong.

Ubisoft is holding a contest where people create a selfie using PNG assets of Rabbids Kong. At least one person can take a picture, add the PNG file of their choice, and then share it on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook using the hashtags #RabbidsKongSelfieContest and #Mario Rabbids.

The grand prize winner will receive one six inch figure of either Rabbid Mario, Rabbid Luigi, or Rabbid Peach and one cap. The second prize winners will get the figure of their choice among the two left after the grand prize winner selects theirs along with one cap. The third prize winner will get the figure left over and one cap. Winners ranked fourth through 10th will receive one cap, winners ranked 10th to 15th will receive one T-shirt, and winners ranked 15th through 20th will receive one set of four pins.

You can receive the complete rules for the contest here.

The game has Mario and friends along with Rabbids dressed as Mario characters wielding laser guns in turn-based, tactical battles. Players explore a 3D environment, collecting coins, solving puzzles, and interacting with other characters and objects. Battle has you moving around the field using cover, similar to XCOM. Characters can combine their abilities to help each other. You can also use the environment to your advantage, going through pipes to flank opponents. There are also new weapons to collect as well as skill trees to upgrade.

The game is coming August 29, 2017 for the Nintendo Switch.

Ubisoft revealed a number of titles during their press conference for E3 2017, including Skull and Bones, The Crew 2, Starlink: Battle for Atlas, South Park: Phone Destroyer, Transference, Steep: Road to the Olympics expansion, and Beyond Good and Evil 2. They also shared more information on Assassin’s Creed: Origins and Far Cry 5.
