The Elder Scrolls Online Offers Free ESO Plus Trial

Elder Scrolls Online

To keep the Morrowind hype rolling, The Elder Scrolls Online is offering a free trial to their subscription service, ESO Plus. Ever since the game went buy-to-play, players have always had an option of paying a monthly subscription to have access to exclusive features such as a crafting bag to store all materials, a 10 percent experience boost, full access to all the DLC packs (excluding Morrowind), double bank space and more.

If you’re an avid player of The Elder Scrolls Online, you’ll find that the subscription is worth it for the crafting bag alone. We’re not kidding, that thing comes in handy.

This July 5, the game will be offering a free trial of the service for five days, running until July 10, well, almost. To activate the trial, players will have to follow these steps:

  • Log into The Elder Scrolls Online
  • Go to the Crown Store
  • View the “Featured” Category
  • Find and select the ESO Plus Free Trial

Current ESO Plus subscribers aren’t left out in the dark for this event, either. Current subscribers will be able to log on an acquire up to five of the new Dwarven Crown Crates by logging in every day during the event. The crates include changes at new mounts, pets, costumes, consumables and other in-game items. This offer won’t apply to players with ESO Plus via the free trial. The crates will be delivered to your account on July 17.

The event begins on July 5 at 10am EDT and ends on July 9 at 11:59pm EDT and is available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC players.

The Elder Scrolls Online just received its first major expansion pack with Morrowind. The new expansion takes players back to the land they loved with the third Elder Scrolls title and also introduced a new class into the game called the Warden.
