Pokemon Go Halloween 2017: What’s in the Special Boxes?

Pokemon Go just launched their special Halloween event. Along with a number of special effects, the in-game shop is offering special packages for a limited time.

The Special Box, priced at 480 Coins, contains five Incense, six Premium Raid Passes, and 10 Pinap Berries.

The Great Box, priced at 780 Coins, contains seven Incense, four Super Incubators, three Premium Passes, and 10 Razz Berries.

The Ultra Box, priced at 1480 Coins, contains 12 Incense, six Super Incubators, six Lucky Eggs, and six Premium Passes.

Incense and Lucky Eggs are normally 80 Coins for each one, Premium Raid Passes are normally 100 Coins for each one, and regular Incubators are normally 150 Coins. The Shop doesn’t sell berries. Overall it seems like the bundles are a pretty good deal, especially since they’re the only way to get Super Incubators which are 50 percent faster than regular ones. The berries are a nice bonus too.

The Halloween event will run from October 20 at 12:00 p.m. PT / 3:00 a.m. ET to November 2 at 1:00 p.m. PT / 4:00 p.m. ET.

In addition to increasing the spawn rate of the “spooky” Pokemon featured during last year’s event, the event will also increase the spawn rates for the newly introduced gen three Pokemon Sableye, Duskull, Dusclops, Shuppet and Banette as well as gen two Pokemon like Houndoom and Misdreavus. More gen three Pokemon will be added to the game in December according to Niantic.

In addition, your Buddy Pokemon will earn Candy twice as fast and you’ll get twice the Candy for catching, hatching, and transferring Pokemon.
