Welterweights Chris Lytle and Matt Brown are likely to face off at UFC 116 in July.
MMAFighting.com was the first to report the news, and Heavy.com has confirmed with a source close to the event that the bout is likely.
UFC 116 takes place July 3 in Las Vegas. The event will be headlined by the return of Brock Lesnar, with the titanic heavyweight champion defending his title against interim heavyweight champion Shane Carwin. Other planned bouts include Wanderlei Silva vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama and Stephan Bonnard vs. Krzystof Soszynski.
Lytle, one of the most consistently entertaining fighters on the UFC roster, is 3-1 in his last four UFC bouts. Brown is also 3-1 in his last four bouts, but is coming off a loss to Ricardo Almeida at UFC 111.
