The UFC is on the way back to the United Kingdom later this year, as the promotion is expected to put forth its first event in England since UFC 105 on October 16.
The news was reported by MMAjunkie.com, who spoke to an individual close to the event, which is anticipated for the famous O2 Arena in London, England. The event is set to be featured free on Spike TV this fall and could end up being a major card. UFC 120 is currently being rumored as the title for the October event, which will be tape-delayed for North America, just as UFC 105 was back in 2009.
The card is yet to be announced as official and does not have any announced or rumored match ups. However, Georges St. Pierre’s most recent victim Dan Hardy could potentially be featured on the card. He has become somewhat of a regular on UFC cards in Europe. Other British fighters will also likely make the card, as the UFC tends to stack British cards with talent from the U.K. Though nothing is official, the event could be announced in the near future.
