Xyience announced today that it has formed a partnership with the famous Montreal Tri-Star gym. Tri-Star, owned by Firas Zahabi, is the main training home of UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre, lightweight contender Kenny Florian and many others.
The partnership means that Tri-Star will exclusively sell Xyience products at the gym, and the Xyience logo will be placed on training mats and banners throughout the gym. In addition, Zahabi will have a presence on Xyience.com.
“I’m glad to be part of the Xyience family and I look forward to working together in making Tristar and Xyience the best in their fields,” Zahabi said.
Gus Prokos, the vice president of sales for Xyience in Canada, finalized the agreement with Zihabi on July 15.
“Tristar has long been synonymous with excellence in training the MMA world, so it’s an ideal partnership for XYIENCE,” explained Prokos. “Firas’ opinion is trusted and respected among the MMA community –for XYIENCE it’s like receiving the AAA Diamond rating for our brand. We’re honored to be a part of the Tristar community.”
Xyience, established in 2004 in Las Vegas, is the official energy drink of the UFC and receives prime logo placement on the Octagon and event promotional materials.
