Best Of WEC DVD Hitting Shelves September 7

Best fights in the history of World Extreme Cagefighting are about to be available on DVD.

Image Entertainment, Inc. announced today that the “Best of WEC” will be released on Tuesday, September 2.

The DVD, which will be available at Best Buy, among other retailers, consists of three hours of the best action ever to be created inside the WEC cage. The DVD will feature six of the very best fights ever put on by the promotion and give viewers the opportunity to take a look at never-before-seen bonus footage as well.

“The ‘Best of WEC’ release is a superb collection of WEC’s most thrilling fights and features some of the top fighters in the world,” said Image Entertainment Chief Acquisitions Officer Bill Bromiley. “Image Entertainment is very excited to offer fans a front row seat to the best, most memorable fights the MMA world has ever seen.”

The DVD features the likes of former champions Urijah Faber, Miguel Torres, and Mike Brown, along with current champion Benson Henderson. Five of the six fights included on the DVD are past title fights that more than lived up to expectations.

Donald Cerrone vs. Rob McCullough
Miguel Torres vs. Yoshiro Maeda
