Hallman meets Waldburger in Seattle
A welterweight bout between T.J. Waldburger and Dennis Hallman is currently in the making for UFC Fight Night 24 this March.
A 65-fight veteran, Hallman rejuvenated his career since returning to the promotion in December of 2009 with a knockout loss to John Howard at “The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale”, winning two fights in a row. He last fought against UFC 123 with a technical knockout victory against Karo Parisyan. Prior to that, he earned a unanimous decision win against Ben Saunders at UFC 117 in California.
But Hallman is not the only one looking to continue building up his stock at the 170 lb. mark, as Waldburger is on a solid winning streak of his own. Since his technical knockout victory against Andrew Chappelle in February of 2009, he has won three more fights, including his unanimous decision victory over David Mitchell in his UFC debut at “UFC Fight Night: Marquardt vs. Palhares.”
UFC Fight Night 24 is set for March 24 at Seattle, Washington’s Key Arena, and the main card of the event will be broadcast live on Spike TV. A light heavyweight tilt between Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Tito Ortiz will serve as the main event of the show.
