Middleweights clash at UFC 129
Jason MacDonald (24-14) and Ryan Jensen (15-7) are slated to fight at UFC 129 in Toronto in a bout that will likely see the loser leaving the promotion.
Sportsnet.ca first reported the match up.
MacDonald’s been out of action since May after suffering a broken leg in a first-round loss to John Salter at UFC 113. The bout marked MacDonald’s return to the UFC after being cut following a loss to Nate Quarry at UFC 97 in March of 2009.
The Canadian strung together a three-fight win streak outside of the organization leading up to the UFC 129 injury.
Jensen is coming off a loss to “The Ultimate Fighter 11” winner Court McGee at UFC 121.
Both have been cut by the promotion before and know what’s on the line at UFC 129.
UFC 129 takes place at the Roger’s Centre in Toronto and is headlined by Georges St. Pierre and Jake Shields for the welterweight championship.
