Chad Mendes Signs New UFC Contract
Featherweight contender Chad Mendes signed a new contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
The Team Alpha Male trained athlete tweeted the news on Wednesday along with a photo of him actually putting his name on the dotted line.
The tweet read, “Boom baby!! Just signed my new UFC contract!!”
Mendes is undefeated with a record of 10-0. He went 4-0 in the WEC before the merger between the two Zuffa LLC. owned fight promotions. Now, he’s 1-0 as a UFC fighter.
He made his official UFC debut at UFC 126, defeating Japanese standout Michihiro Omigawa by unanimous decision.
