UFC matchmaker Sean Shelby tweeted the news on Wednesday.
“Next TUF tryouts will be 135 lbs & 145 lbs in NJ,” the tweet read. “Marriott Newark Liberty International March 21.”
The tryouts are for “The Ultimate Fighter 14,” which will begin production later this summer and air in the fall. Registration begins at 8 a.m. ET on March 21 at the Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott in Newark.
UFC President Dana White will oversee the tryouts with executive producer Craig Piligian, producer Jamie Campione and Spike TV’s senior vice president of sports and specials Brian Diamond.
It will mark the first time the popular reality series has featured either bantamweight or featherweight fighters.
The Ultimate Fighter debuted on Spike TV in 2005 and is currently filming its 13th season, featuring 14 welterweight fighters under coaches Brock Lesnar and Junior Dos Santos.
