UFC 128: Two Preliminary Bouts To Stream Live On Facebook

Ricardo Almeida

Pellegrino vs. Tibau, Almeida vs. Pyle featured on UFC 128 Facebook stream

The UFC is coming back to Facebook to stream a pair of preliminary bouts from the upcoming UFC 128.

MMAjunkie.com learned of the news from UFC officials earlier on Monday.

The first bout to air on the social networking site will be a lightweight tilt between Kurt Pellegrino and Gleison Tibau, while the second will feature welterweights Mike Pyle and Ricardo Almeida.

The two match ups now give the fans a chance to see four free fights prior to the pay-per-view event. A light heavyweight clash between Luiz Cane and Eliot Marshall will be a part of the Spike TV broadcast as 9 p.m. ET, as will a lightweight bout between WEC veteran Anthony Njokuani and Edson Barboza.

UFC 128 is set for the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on March 19. The card features a main event between light heavyweight champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and top contender Jon Jones, along with a bantamweight tilt between Urijah Faber and Eddie Wineland.
