Shark Fights Signs Deal With FUEL TV

Shark Fights 13 to be featured on FUEL TV’s Friday Fight Night series

Texas-based mixed martial arts fight promotion, Shark Fight Promotions, announced today that they have officially signed a deal with FUEL TV, a network that is part of the Fox Sports Media Group.

Shark Fights 13 will be part of “FUEL TV’s Friday Fight Night,” a weekly program every Friday night at 10:00 PM ET/PT.

“FUEL TV’s Friday Fight Night” features telecasts of several fight events, including Shark Fights 13. As part of the Shark Fight series, FUEL TV will air select bouts from the event that took place on Sept. 11, 2010.

Shark Fights 13 featured Trevor Prangley defeating Keith Jardine in the main event. Other notables on the card were Strikeforce welterweight contender Paul Daley, light heavyweights Rameau Sokoudjou and Houston Alexander, as well as veterans Joey Villasenor and Danillo Villefort.

“We are honored to be part of ‘FUEL TV’s Friday Fight Night.’ Shark Fights 13 contenders delivered an electrifying night of fights on September 11 and we are very excited about the event’s television network debut. It gives us another opportunity to promote the fighters and gives fight fans a second chance to catch the action if they missed it the first time around,” said Shark Fight Promotions President Brent Medley.

The Shark Fights 13 telecast will be a two-part feature, airing on April 15 and April 22 at 10:00 PM ET/PT. Each one-hour Shark Fights episode on FUEL TV will feature the “best of” Shark Fights 13.
