Aldo vs. Florian adds second title fight to UFC 136
A featherweight title fight between Jose Aldo and Kenny Florian will serve as the co-main event of UFC 136 in Houston.
UFC officials made the announcement on Friday afternoon.
The event is shaping up to be one of the most stacked cards in UFC history. In addition to the featherweight title fight, the event also features a lightweight title fight between Gray Maynard and Frankie Edgar, a middleweight eliminator match between Brian Stann and Chael Sonnen and a lightweight contender bout between Melvin Guillard and Joe Lauzon.
Aldo last competed at UFC 128 in April, defeating Mark Hominick via decision to defend his UFC belt for the first time. Florian appeared one month later, beating Diego Nunes in his UFC featherweight debut.
