Bader, Brilz try to end bad luck
Two UFC light heavyweights will look to end two-fight losing streaks in November.
Ryan Bader and Jason Brilz have agreed to square off at UFC 139 in San Jose. UFC officials announced the bout on Tuesday night.
UFC 139 takes place Nov. 19 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose. It’s expected to be headlined by the return of Cain Velasquez as he defends his UFC heavyweight championship against Junior dos Santos.
It is currently unknown if Bader vs. Brilz will make the pay per view portion of the evening or if the pair will be relegated to the Spike TV or Facebook broadcasts.
Bader will try to snap out of his losing streak after becoming one of the UFC’s hottest light heavyweight prospects. The former Ultimate Fighter winner lost via submission to Jon Jones at UFC 126 and to Tito Ortiz at UFC 132.
Brilz has suffered back-to-back losses to Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Vladimir Matyushenko.
