Bloodworth replaces Houghland on short notice
Jeff Houghland has suffered an injury and pulled out of his UFC on Versus 6 bout with Mike Easton.
Newcomer Byron Bloodworth has filled in for Houghland on short notice and will face Easton on extremely short notice. UFC officials announced the change on Tuesday afternoon.
UFC on Versus 6 takes place Oct. 1 at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. The event is headlined by a UFC bantamweight title fight between Dominick Cruz and Demetrious Johnson.
