TUF 14 episode 6 draws 1.6 million viewers

The sixth episode from Season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter drew an estimated average audience of 1.6 million viewers Wednesday on Spike TV.

The ratings equal the best number of the season, tied with the second and fifth episodes, and maintains this season’s run of strong numbers. The episode also drew an average household ratings of 1.5 in the male demographic between 18-49 years of age.

This week’s episode featured Diego Brandao of Team Bisping needing just 40 seconds to knock out Steven Siler of Team Mayhem in the first of two fights. Team Mayhem got back in the win column in the episode’s second bout as John Dodson earned a unanimous decision victory over John Albert.

Team Mayhem now boasts a 5-2 record over the course of the season

The two coaches are not really fans of one another, and will get to put their coaching duties behind them when they meet in the main event of The Ultimate Fighter 14 Finale on Spike TV this December in Las Vegas.

With another episode in the books, the reality series inches closer and closer to the end of the final season on Spike TV.

As part of the UFC’s multi-year, multi-channel deal with Fox, The Ultimate Fighter will move to the FX network starting next year.
