Official weigh-in event streams live from Japan
UFC 144, the UFC’s first card in Japan since December 2000 takes place Saturday in the U.S. (Sunday in Japan), and on Friday, you can watch a live stream of the official weigh-in event here at HeavyMMA.
The weigh-ins take place at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, just north of Tokyo site of Saturday’s card, and begin at 11 p.m. Eastern.
UFC 144 features a main event lightweight title fight between champion Frankie Edgar and top contender Ben Henderson. The co-main event pits former Pride star Quinton “Rampage” Jackson against Ryan Bader in a light heavyweight bout. The main card airs live on pay-per-view starting at 10 p.m. Eastern on Saturday. The main card is set for a four-hour broadcast window featuring seven fights, as opposed to five fights and three hours in a typical UFC pay-per-view main card. In addition, the FX cable channel will air four fights from the preliminary card starting at 8 p.m. Eastern, and the night’s first fight will stream at the UFC’s Facebook fan page.
