Pyle, Pierce, Johnson lead “UFC on FX 3” payroll
Main card winners from “UFC on FX 3” Mike Pyle and Demetrious Johnson lead the card in payroll.
MMAjunkie.com revealed the fighter salaries on Tuesday.
Johnson, who defeated Ian McCall in the evening’s main event, walked away with $40,000, the same amount as preliminary card winner Mike Pierce. Meanwhile, Pyle had the highest payday, earning $66,000 for his knockout win over Josh Neer.
The two other main card winners Eddie Wineland and Erick Silva earned $20,000 and $16,000, respectively.
As far as those who walked away without victories, McCall earned just $9,000, Charlie Brenneman had a higher payday than his opponent with an $18,000 check, and Scott Jorgensen did the same, earning $500 more than Wineland in his loss.
