“UFC on FX” ratings improve with latest event
Last weekend’s “UFC on FX 4” drew 1.3 million viewers on FX.
MMAjunkie.com confirmed the number this week.
Featuring a main event between lightweight contenders Gray Maynard and Clay Guida, the event featured a total of four main card fights that broadcast live from Revel Atlantic City in New Jersey. The main event hardly live up to expectations, as Guida’s evasive gameplan led to boos from the fans and, ultimately, a split-decision loss.
The 1.3 million viewers marks a welcomed increase after “UFC on FX 3” drew just 1.1 million viewers, making it the least successful main card broadcast on the channel to date.
The next event set for FX, “UFC on FX 5,” is likely for September 7 in Indianapolis, Indiana. No fights have been announced for the card.
