UFC Octagon Girl Celeste not charged by Las Vegas District Attorney due to lack of evidence
No charges will be filed by the Las Vegas District Attorney’s office against Arianny Celeste.
The UFC Octagon girl was arrested for battery domestic violence in May after an altercation with her a male friend.
MMAjunkie.com confirmed the news with Tess Driver, the executive assistant to Las Vegas district attorney Steve Wolfson, citing insufficient evidence as the main factor in the decision.
Praveen Chandra was also arrested in the altercation on May 26 in Las Vegas, though charges will not be brought against him either. Celeste was accused of kicking him in the face, while Celeste stated that she had been choked numerous times.
Celeste was not punished by the Ultimate Fighting Championship for the incident. In fact, UFC president Dana White voiced his support of the ring girl and model.
