Frank Mir Injured, Withdraws From Bout Against Cormier

Mir injured, off Nov. 3 fight card

Frank Mir‘s move to Strikeforce is off.

The former UFC heavyweight champion was scheduled to face Daniel Cormier in the main event of “Strikeforce: Cormier vs. Mir,” but an injury has forced him off the card.

The show Sports Rage first reported the news.

The event will still take place on November 3 in Oklahoma City, but will obviously have a new headliner. A replacement has yet to be announced for Mir.

The November 3 headliner will be the final heavyweight fight in Strikeforce history, as Cormier will make the move to the UFC afterwards.
