Retired Long Island school teacher Irv Gordon drives a 1966 Volvo P1800. What’s special about it is that he’s been driving it since 1966 and has racked up nearly 3 million miles on it.
That’s right, 3 million miles. How is that even possible?
To start with, how can you even drive that many miles? And how did the car not break down? My car just broke down at 16 years old and 82,000 miles. He’s at 46 years and 3 f%@king million miles.
Oh, by the way, it’s a world record … a couple of times over.
I kinda love/hate this guy. His journey is freaking epic and I can’t help but respect it. At the same time, f%@k you, dude. Having to get a new car is expensive.
